Owner, Casey Bagby started Ella Lane, Inc. in 2011. Armed with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising and a minor in Art History, she graduated college in 2010 and entered into the real world and the 9-5 work-week. Her mission: finding her dream job, full of creative opportunities and loving every day! To her surprise, most worthy employers weren’t too excited about giving a dream job to an unexperienced 22-year old. So, she decided to go a different route, combining her love for creativity, art, fashion and vintage thrift shopping, she sought to start her own company where women could find all these delights in one place at an affordable price. A discount shopper at heart, Casey has always been one to search for a good deal when it comes to her personal style. Casey serves as the main buyer for her company, handpicking each accessory, handmade piece and vintage find, to ensure her goals of having high quality and affordable items.
In order to fit all her loves onto one website, she chose to break her site up into three sections:
Vintage Finds: “Classic style never dies. A good vintage bag, accessory or piece of clothing can go a long way and make a real statement. Searching for and finding vintage items to include on my website is something I really enjoy doing.”
Handmade Items: “I have always had a love for art, jewelry making and DIY projects. I really admire people that can have a vision and then turn around and mold it with their own hands. Including handmade jewelry and accessories from local friends and artists not only gives me a chance to get inspired, but to show others how amazing their work is!”
Accessories & Bags: “Everyone loves a good deal! Even more, everyone loves to have a go-to place to find those good deals. Having an awesome one-of-a-kind item is always a great feeling, but you have to have the every day essentials to complete your personal style! It was really important to me that I consistently offer trendy fashion essentials on the site.”
Marketing Guru, Lindsay Tharp, joined the Ella Lane team to provide creative insight and assist in the search for the unique finds that make up the site. Lindsay has always been a believer in “what goes around, comes around,” especially with trends. She turns to the Vintage Finds section to prove that “classic” never goes out of style. Lindsay’s style is down-to-earth mostly consisting of jeans and a fun top. But she can also be found wearing two rings on one finger, following her “you-can-never-have-too-many-
